William H. Daniel Turfgrass Research and Diagnostic Center (Daniel Center)

The Daniel Center is conveniently located just north of campus and adjacent to one of two 18-hole Pete Dye designed championship golf courses. It has an educational facility with classroom and over 21 acres of turfgrass research plots. With an operational budget supported by the MRTF, this center houses over 75 turfgrass research projects in any given year. Prior to 1996, the turfgrass program utilized approximately five acres at the Agronomy Center for Research and Education to conduct research related to turfgrass management. This expanded facility has provided the Purdue Turf Program an opportunity to expand its research impact.
