    Our Annual Golf Day Fundraiser is always an enjoyable day of networking and fellowship with turf industry professionals! The goal is to raise awareness of programs and activities of the Purdue Turf Program and to support and promote turfgrass research and education. The event rotates around to different premier golf courses. This year, we will hold this event at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, IN.  The field will be limited to 108 players, and we anticipate filling the field again this year! Join us for this fun event and help us work toward our annual fundraising goals.

    Agenda:

    10:00 am - Registration and driving range open

    11:45 am - Pickup boxed lunch and call to carts for announcements

    12:00 pm - Shotgun start

    After completion of play - Reception with food, awards, and prizes

    This is an on-demand, ONLINE Version of our in-person Herbicide Workshop. We understand that many are unable to travel and attend the in-person version of this workshop. With this option, you will have access to the material at all times from November 6th to December 18th. During this time, you may choose to complete the entire program, or focus on the items you're interested in. You will receive credits for EACH section completed.

    The ONLINE format is as follows:

    • Seven different 30-60 minute, CCH-earning, professional-quality video presentations will be delivered by Dr. Aaron Patton, Turfgrass Specialist and Weed Scientist.
    • Registered attendees can choose which presentations to watch and earn credits based on their interests, though all videos will be available to watch.
    • Attendees who register by November 6th will have until December 18th to watch the presentations at their convenience. Later registrations will be allowed with a cutoff deadline of December 18, 2026.
    • Dr. Patton will address attendee questions via email.
    • More details on how to access the content will be sent by email a few days before the event is to begin.
    • Registrants will receive Purdue’s latest turf weed control publication in the mail.

    This event is designed for intermediate and advanced turf professionals, providing them with the latest technology for managing turf and landscape systems, and to maintain their pesticide applicator licenses.  Two full days of CCH earning presentations delivered by faculty and staff from Purdue University and the Office of the Indiana State Chemists.  Registered attendees (in-person) will be provided with lunch on day two of the seminar.

    This one-day workshop is designed for beginners and more experienced professionals who want more information on herbicide use principles and discussions of how to control common green industry weeds. This workshop offers training in weed identification, integrated weed management, selecting the right herbicides, enhancing weed control, and updates on the latest weed research findings.

    The Indiana Green Expo (IGE) is an annual three-day conference for professional turfgrass, landscape, and nursery managers as well as allied groups such as arborists and vegetation management firms. A typical program includes eight concurrent educational sessions, 60+ speakers, ten 3-hour directed workshops, and a tradeshow with about 120 exhibitors and over 100 hours of educational presentations. This event is typically held in January/February at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The conference is a joint effort between the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation (MRTF) and the Indiana Nursery & Landscape Association (INLA) with an average attendance of 1,600 green industry professionals.
